dear everyone,

many apologies, as there has been some delay in contacting you all. everyone who submitted their form before sunday, don’t worry you are in. your GLs will contact you in due time — there has been some reshuffling going on. as for those who submitted your registration forms on sunday or after, if you haven’t heard that you’re NOT in, in all probability we’re scrambling over ourselves to slot you in =). if you have heard that you’re not in, i’m really sorry, we are full to very over capacity.

in the meantime, for those who are coming next week, please pack according to the list below, and your GLs will be contacting you — with the same list =)

• 7 or 8 sets of clothes (prepare 2 -3 sets for dirty games)
• Swimming costumes
• Googles
• Slippers
• Track shoes
• About $50 of standby cash (not including camp fee)
• Ezlink card with $20
• Water bottle
• Toiletries
• Medications (if applicable)
• 1 packet of instant noodles of ur choice

Optional…

• Sunblock
• Insect repellent
• Beach wear / bikini
• Sunglasses
• Washing powder/detergent ( washing machines are available, if need they can wash clothes…)

for those who have received a confirmation email (or will receive one) hang onto this space for updates, and your group leaders will be calling you very soon.

if you don’t receive a confirmation email by wednesday, my apologies. but hopefully that won’t stop you from wanting to be involved in the next year’s camp =)

camp will start at about 2pm on 9 july, and end at around 1pm on 13 july.

how will the camp fees of $45 be collected?
don’t worry about the payment. the $45 in camp fees will be collected from you when you arrive for camp on 9 july

if i have something on during the camp, would i be able to leave and come back?
yes, of course. although we would like to have you with us for the whole duration of the camp, we understand if you have something urgent on. hurry back to us though =) oh, and please make a note of it when you submit your registration form, and also to your Group Leaders when they contact you later on.

can i not participate in some activities?
yes, if you are not comfortable with some of the activities, please feel free to observe rather than participate.

where will the camp be held?
spms foc 07 will be held mainly in NTU, but we have a few activities held outside of campus.

what are the highlights of the camp?
sorry to say, we will not be publishing the itinerary of the camp. however highlights include our Food Race, Cluedo, beach games, dirty games, Campus Blaze, etc. if interested to find out more about the programme, please take the time to look at the photos — we’re trying out the games in them =)

when will we get the packing list and meeting place information?
after 30 june, your Group Leaders will call you to tell you all the pertinent information

is this an overnight camp?
yes, we will be staying overnight in school (NTU) for all four nights.

what is the tshirt sizing like?
a good guide would be the size you normally wear. if in doubt, please choose the larger size. guys, i think L and above would be a good bet. girls, M would be fine or too big for most of you.
